Sarah Estes brings strategy, policy, advocacy, emergency medical expertise, crisis intervention experience, and passionate advocacy to Naytron Community Crisis Solutions, where she helps jurisdictions build mobile crisis programs that deliver compassionate, effective care while navigating complex multi-agency partnerships.

 

Drawing from her work as a Crisis Worker and Medical & Behavioral Specialist with several mobile crisis teams, Sarah provides consulting clients with practical insights into the operational and leadership realities of mobile crisis response. 

 

Her experience providing in-community medical assessments and crisis intervention services for individuals experiencing behavioral health emergencies, using evidence-based de-escalation tactics to mitigate safety risks, and delivering services ranging from grief support and conflict resolution to resource navigation informs her approach to designing programs that balance clinical excellence with compassionate care.

 

Sarah specializes in helping communities establish mobile crisis programs that integrate emergency medical protocols with behavioral health interventions. Her expertise includes medical assessment in crisis situations, evidence-based de-escalation tactics, scene management and safety risk mitigation, grief support and conflict resolution, resource navigation and community connection, and legal advocacy within crisis response systems. With her background as a seasoned EMS instructor and 911 system ambulance EMT, she brings deep understanding of how to train crisis workers in both medical competencies and people-centered care approaches.

 

Sarah's career has encompassed providing critical pre-hospital care, developing and delivering engaging EMS curricula, and supporting individuals during mental health emergencies. Her personal experience with healthcare systems and emergency services provides additional perspective on navigating the systems mobile crisis teams must work within. She is dedicated to enhancing emergency medical and mental healthcare services through advocacy, collaboration, and continuous learning.
